The Designer Hello, I am Fiona Alexander. I live in Edinburgh, Scotland and love fabric, sewing and beautiful design. My mother taught me to sew when I was about 8 years old and it has always been in my life. I have lived in Sydney, 13 years in London and are now back in Scotland. Sustainable clothing - I produce small batch clothing mixing pre-loved, vintage and new fabrics. Sewing patterns - I spent several years digitalising my sewing patterns and after launching in April 2021, won three awards at the British Sewing Awards including two in the category of Best Eco-Friendly Product. Many of my patterns have an option to reuse existing clothes and textiles.
