The Nova Scotia Skirt is a simple design so go crazy on the fabric!  The skirt has a flat front and an elastic back waistband making it comfortable and easy to sew (no buttons or zip) but looking stylist. Great for fabulous print cottons. 

Redundant cotton and/or linen curtains bought from Ebay or thrift stores can make lovely skirts.  The quality and thickness of the material is often great and you will be saving it from landfill.
